Copy-Rite Printing is currently hiring for a Print Shop Assistant.
The Print Shop Assistant will act as a true representative of Copy-Rite Printing, interacting with customers in-person, on the phone, and via email.
They will assist in proofing artwork, going through pre-press reviews, basic graphic design, and light production. They will be responsible for accepting and recording payments, quoting basic jobs, as well as entering and moving jobs through production tracking software. They may assist in shipping jobs including packing jobs and printing shipping labels.
On-the-job training will be provided, however the ability to work alone and feel comfortable answering phones and interacting with walk-in customers is required. This is not a position that could work from home.
Compensation starts at $15/hour, with final rates dependent on candidate and availability. The employee will be working up to 14 hours a week between Tueseday - Thursday 9:00 - 4:00. The exact schedule will depend on employee’s schedule and the schedule of Copy-Rite Printing.

Tasks Include:
Serve as customer-facing representative of Copy-Rite
Answer phones and emails
Interact with walk-in customers for pick ups and drop-offs
Basic Job Proofing
Filing and data entry into production software
Basic production including copying and printing
Light design work
Act as quality control over finished jobs from internal and external sources
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Friendly and polite with customers, repair techs, and suppliers
Can answer phones and take diligent messages
Competent when answering emails while using basic grammar
Detail-oriented
Willing to learn new skills
Flexible with day-to-day tasks
Able to change priorities depending on jobs coming in
Ability to follow a price sheet and protocols
Preferred Skills and Software Experience:
Adobe Creative Cloud - Specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
Canva
Microsoft Office and 365
